Coding and revenue cycle assessments can reveal valuable insights about an ASC’s financial health and viability. Facilities should not only establish and implement internal and external auditing processes for all areas of their revenue cycle but also analyze the findings, identify weak links, develop problem resolutions and monitor any changes to determine progress.
In this session, we will examine common areas of the revenue cycle that you should be monitoring; discuss performance objectives, monitoring frequency and accuracy goals; and review the internal controls for various departments of the ASC business office.
