About the Speaker:

Saul R. Epstein, MBA, has over forty years of experience in the health care industry, with the last twenty in the ambulatory surgical center business.  Mr. Epstein has become the de facto Chairperson of FSASC Workers’ Compensation initiatives.  He has attended and been a very vocal participant in numerous Rule workshops and hearings held by the State of Florida to develop alternative Workers’ Compensation reimbursement strategies impacting the ASC provider community, including helping to write the Reimbursement Manual currently in effect.   For over ten years, he has lectured on behalf of the FSASC at its annual meetings and for continuing education sessions. Mr. Epstein is the co-founder of two multi-specialty ASCs in South Florida; and also successfully turned-around a troubled multi-specialty South Florida ASC.   Ultimately, majority ownership interest sales to national ASC companies were engineered for all three ASCs; the most recent of which occurred a few months ago.

At that time, Mr. Epstein ceased owning or managing ambulatory surgical centers and he founded ProActiv Services, LLC. Mr. Epstein formed ProActiv Services, LLC to provide Workers’ Compensation revenue optimization support for Florida-based ASCs.
