About the speaker

Lee Anne Blackwell has over 30 years in healthcare services, with a focus on ambulatory surgery nursing and management. Lee Anne has extensive experience in multiple surgical services, with a favorite in orthopedic sports medicine surgical reconstruction- she is REALLY GOOD with POWER TOOLS! She also developed clinical education and training topics related to the ASC clinical setting, including infection control, instrument processing, sterilization and high-level disinfection. Lee Anne currently serves as the VP of Clinical Services with Practice Partners in Healthcare, Inc., a Birmingham, AL based ambulatory surgery center management and development company, and provides direct support to ASCs in GA, SC, FL, AL, MS and CO in clinical and quality of care, quality councils, medical staff credentialing, and ASC accreditation and regulation.
